Hey peeps,
Just thought I'd get in with my happy 2010 and say that I wish you all a fab and productive one. I have good feelings about this year Personally, I can't believe that it has been a whole decade since we experienced the y2k and all the trepidation it brought with it as a fresh new century, but hey, despite some turbulent changes, we're all still here, more or less and in some form or other. 2009 has been a wicked one for me for several reasons. I've overcome some serious personal challenges and problems, made some amazing new friends that are swiftly becoming family and my art seems to have crashed through some of the barriers it had bound itself up in.

As I've said to a few of you in my replies to your generous and always appreciated comments, I feel like my drawing is becoming more of a second nature in the way I approach it now, which I can only describe as a liberating thing. I feel more capable rather than restricted and this has helped make some leaps forward at least within my own perception. While on the art topic, I have taken a lot of time this holiday period to really knuckle down with some new stuff, and now that I'm working far more quickly, I've managed to get quite a lot of new pieces completed. We've got a LOT of X-characters in the mix; a lot of the lesser known X-students and supporting cast including the New Mutants, the Young X-men and a little appearance from a favourite Generation X recruit. I've also got some blasts from my personal past, with a lil She-Ra tribute, my fave Star Wars heroine and a couple of DC characters too. Oh, and if anyone out there is a fan of NEXTWAVE: Agents of H.A.T.E, a certain Miss Bloodstone may be cropping up too. I'm really excited to get this back log of art uploaded for you to take a look at so I'll sign off here. Hope everyone is well and happy.
